The 29thASSITEJ Korea International Summer Festival is coming to children and young audiences this July, online and offline!
Since the pandemic situation has been going, ASSITEJ KOREA has never stopped providing festivals to the children and families.
The 29th ASSITEJ KOREA International Summer Festival is organised as a nationwide and hybrid TYA festival in Korea for 3 weeks, which connects the capital to different local regions and make it more accessible through online streaming platform.
The offline festival is providing 9 Korean Productions in different cities – Seoul, Gwangju, Daegu, Incheon, Gimhae – from 17 July to 8 of August; the Online Theatre presents several International Productions from the USA, Canada, and Japan.
ASSITEJ KOREA was originally based in Seoul and focused on providing national and international performances mostly around the capital. In this year, we are trying to expand the scope of the festival nationally and to reach as many as audiences who would like to enjoy and appreciate the children’s theatre performances in their towns.
Moreover, by introducing the International Productions online, ASSITEJ KOREA would like to invite the international productions to perform at the next edition of ASSITEJ KOREA International Summer Festival in Korea.
